With over 25 years at the forefront of the scene, Ben Sims is one of techno’s most enduring and influential figures. Schooled on a diverse foundation of Hip Hop, Reggae, and 80s Rave, he played a pivotal role in defining the UK’s electronic landscape throughout the 90s. Today, he remains an ardent champion of the genre’s development, staying true to its original funk and groove-heavy roots while constantly nurturing new talent through his various labels, radio shows, and relentless global touring.

In the booth, Sims is a technical virtuoso known for a high-energy style that commands total attention. Utilizing a complex setup of three to five decks simultaneously, he blends tracks into a dense, rapidly evolving collage of sound through masterful use of faders, EQs, and effects. Whether performing for an intimate club or a massive festival crowd, his unbridled energy and commitment to the art of mixing cement his reputation as both a "DJ’s DJ" and a definitive party rocker.
