DJ TOOL’s signature sound is a high-velocity blend of old-school foundations and intrepid, modern energy. His sets are a masterclass in quicksilver transitions, seamlessly traversing percolating trance, frenetic techno, and seductive psychedelia. As a co-founder of the influential Mala Junta collective, DJ TOOL has been instrumental in re-contextualizing trance within the queer underground, utilizing an encyclopedic knowledge of clandestine classics to create a sound that is as assertive as it is authentic.

Renowned for his apodictic vinyl dexterity, dj TOOL honed his craft within Copenhagen’s Fast Forward collective before earning global acclaim for his indefatigable stamina. He has become a legend of the long-form set, with fabled 8-hour(+) closings.. Whether through his activist-driven DIY efforts to politicize nightlife or his high-energy performances at institutions like London’s FOLD, Berlin’s Berghain, Tbilisi’s Bassiani, and New York’s Basement, every facet of his output emanates a raw, irrefutable energy unique to his vision.
