DUSTIN ZAHN
LOCATION: Berlin via Minneapolis
AFFILIATION: Enemy | Blueprint | Rekids
Dustin Zahn is a veteran producer and DJ whose 25-year career is defined by a signature pulsating and hypnotic sound. A prolific creator, Zahn has released two acclaimed albums—2014’s Monoliths and 2021’s Gain of Function— and several EPs across prestigious labels like Blueprint, Token, Drumcode, and Rekids. While he is a sought-after remixer for legends like Mark Broom and Chris Liebing, the majority of his creative output flows through his own Enemy Records, an imprint he founded in 2004 to champion his diverse musical vision.
Beyond the studio, Zahn has built a global reputation for his technical stamina, famously delivering marathon DJ sets that can reach up to 12 hours. His influence on the American underground is equally profound; as a key collaborator with the Intellephunk crew, he has helped shape the U.S. techno scene through the long-running Communion afterparty series and the intimate "anti-festival," The Great Beyond. From engineering for art-pop bands to headlining world-renowned warehouses, Zahn remains a versatile force at the intersection of techno, house, and experimental music.
