Massimiliano Pagliara, originally from Southern Italy, established his artistic foundation in Milan where he earned a diploma in theatre, dance, and choreography. After moving to Berlin to continue his dance studies, he transitioned into the city's electronic music scene and began DJing with a passion in 2003. This journey has led to prestigious residencies at Berghain / Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, Basement NY, and Romantica, all informed by his deep-rooted belief that knowing how to move oneself is essential to moving a crowd.

Pagliara describes his eclectic sound as a current-yet-classic blend of house, disco, electro, and techno, driven by an obsession with analog synths. His prolific career includes acclaimed albums like Focus For Infinity and the award-winning See You In Paradise, with releases on influential labels such as Permanent Vacation, Live At Robert Johnson, and Ostgut Ton. Beyond his solo work, he remains dedicated to musical collaboration and dialogue through various side projects and his own imprint, Funnuvojere Records.
