Rene Wise is a Lisbon-based DJ and producer whose sonic vision is built on a deep foundation of rhythm and percussion, influenced by his upbringing as the son of a professional Iranian drummer. His artistic approach seamlessly merges production and performance, focusing on high attention to detail and a mature, atmospheric sound that captivates listeners. Known for a quality over quantity mindset, his sets are defined by a powerful trademark of low-end focus and intricate selection, allowing him to navigate longer sets that explore deep rhythmic realms.

In 2024, Wise launched his own imprint, Moving Pressure, a label conceptually dedicated to the physical capacity of sound to guide human movement and emotion. This project further distills his signature style: hypnotic, percussive, and propulsive techno in its purest form. Beyond his label, he has established himself as a mainstay on influential imprints like Mote Evolver and holds a residency at the esteemed Eerste Communie parties in the Netherlands, all while gracing world-renowned institutions such as Berghain and Bassiani.
